Employee Safety and Inclement Weather Notice
At City Sanitary Service, we try our very best to provide the essential service of garbage removal. Sometimes there are garbage collection scenarios that can be unsafe for employees, vehicles or the public such as severe weather events or the aftermath. Because of safety, Tillamook County provided Ordinance 4, Section 4.09 regarding times when service will not be provided. Service does not have to occur if the safety of the driver of a collection vehicle or the motoring public is in jeopardy, or if the customer has not provided reasonable access to the pickup point without hazard or risk to the person providing service, or when weather conditions prevent service to the particular customer.
In severe weather events, then there might be hazardous road conditions, power or cable lines preventing access, or some other hazard unknown to you. When it is safe, then we will resume service. There might simply be a delay in the timing or day of your service. Please keep your contact information up to date so that we can contact you if needed. If you have questions or need to update your contact phone or email then please let us know. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Check our Facebook page for real-time updates on route delays or changes.
